Community supper draws a crowd

It’s no wonder that the Chester Memorial Hall is full for the bi-monthly Community Suppers sponsored by various community organizations in the Lake Almanor Basin. The Jan. 26 meal was sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of  Latter-day Saints and featured beef tri-tip, baked potatoes, green salad, dinner roll and a plethora of tasty desserts.

The next supper is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 9 and will have a Valentine’s Day theme.
