The Plumas Health Care Foundation’s community gathered to celebrate and support Plumas District Hospital at the 11th annual Starry Mountain Nights fundraiser on Sept. 24. Guests mixed, mingled and danced in Jeff and Tracy Kepple’s beautiful garden while enjoying an evening under the stars. The evening was a hit with drinks and appetizers provided by Bill and Sue Wickman, a dinner prepared by Caron Chance with Back Door Catering, and entertainment by Rickety Bridge. The foundation was grateful to receive volunteer help from both the Feather River College baseball and rodeo teams in setting up and breaking down the event.
The Foundation’s Executive Director, Sierra Blanton Rader, said she was excited to gather once again together after a several-year hiatus, for what the future holds for Plumas District Hospital, and the role the foundation will have along the way.
Guy and Linda McNett were selected as the year’s foundation honorees. The McNetts were recognized for their incredible support of the foundation, and their continued generosity throughout the Dixie Fire.
The event was graciously sponsored by Sierra Pacific Industries, Plumas Bank, Care Flight, Flanigan-Leavitt Insurance Agency, Stevie James Event Stylist, Edwards Jones – Kris Kurpjuweit, Mountain Building Supply, Senior Life Solutions, and 530 Event Rentals.
