In anticipation of receiving approval to provide direct housing for those displaced by the Dixie Fire, Plumas County is searching for parcel(s) to place FEMA trailers.
The need is in Indian Valley, where 63 households have indicated they would like to remain; as well as in Quincy, where another 17 households want to stay.
Infrastructure will be installed, so it is preferred that as many trailers could be located in one site as possible. There is no cost to the property owner and the improvements will remain once the trailers are removed. Property owners must commit to 18 months.
