Craft fair, Gold Discovery Days, and Pints for Pups this weekend

The area in and around Graeagle will be hopping this weekend with a trio of events that offer something for everyone.

Arts & Crafts Fair 

The 51st annual Graeagle Arts & Crafts Fair returns to the Graeagle Park this Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16, with numerous booths featuring quality, handmade crafts and fine art. Live music is also featured along with an assortment of foods and beverages at the nearby specialty booths. The craft fair is open Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

 

Gold Discovery Days

Gold Discovery Days in Johnsville, sponsored by the Plumas Eureka State Park Association are this Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16,  from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

The family friendly event features a wide array of historical activities, including gold panning, a children’s archaeological dig, wood working demonstrations, and more. For the history buff amongst your family, there will be tours made available of the Assay office and the Moriarty House, blacksmith demonstrations and museum displays.

Rotary will be serving breakfast Sunday from 8 – 11 a.m. and the Graeagle Lions will be cooking up a barbecue lunch both days.

Pints for Pups

High Sierra Animal Rescue’s fundraiser Pints for Pups is scheduled for Saturday, July 15 at the Brewing Lair,  from 4 – 8 p.m. For more information contact Abigail Birnbyer at 530-832-4727.
