Death notice for the week of 1/29/20

Edward Ludwig Hood

Edward Ludwig Hood began his life Jan. 6, 1938, and found his way to rest Dec. 27, 2019. He was well known locally for his many business ventures most notably logging and forest reclamation.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Dotta-Hood; father, George Hood; brothers, Attilio Deini, Hap Deini, George Hood, Frank Hood; and sister, Peggy Deini-Sousoff.

Edward is survived by his first wife, Marianne Hood-Moore; their children, Charlotte Hood-Carmichael, Jennifer Hood, John Hood, Carol Hood-Bishop; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Frances Parton-Hood; her daughters, Lisa Parton-Pike, Debra Parton; and grandson, Ethan Pike.

He was dad to all six and grandpa to all grandchildren. He was loved and will be missed by all.
