If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.

The current total is 371 positive tests results; with 92 active cases (though the recovered cases have not been recorded on today’s map.) As of Friday, there have been 13 total hospitalizations related to COVID with three individuals in the hospital currently, and one death reported today of a female in her late 70s in the Lake Almanor area with underlying medical conditions.
