Dec. 29: Plumas announces 4 new coronavirus cases
The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this evening, Dec. 29, that there are 4 additional confirmed coronavirus cases.
Following is the breakdown of today’s cases:
One resident from the Western Region (Chester/Lake Almanor)
One residents from the Eastern Region (Portola/Graeagle)
Two residents from the Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley)
Contact tracing is underway and if an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
The current total of confirmed coronavirus cases is 468*, with 36 of those active. *There was a positive case in the Northern Region over the weekend that hadn’t been reported.
