A different kind of Sunday drive

The Pacific Region of The American Driving Society held its carriage-driving weekend at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds and in Genesee Valley on May 13 and 14.

The Sunday morning drive saw horses hitched up at the Genesee Store and caravanned up to the Heart K Ranch. Participants came from several Western states and Hawaii, bringing Friesians horses, Haflingers and Miniature Horses for the drive.
