District 3 Congressional candidates debate Oct. 27; to air locally

KCRA 3 and CapRadio are hosting a live debate in Sacramento with the candidates for U.S. House District 3 on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The two candidates are Democrat Kermit Jones, a doctor from Roseville, and Republican Kevin Kiley, a member of the state Assembly who now represents parts of El Dorado, Placer and Sacramento counties.

U.S. House District 3 does not have an incumbent after it was redrawn in California’s redistricting process. The district represents voters in portions of Plumas, Mono, Sacramento Sierra, Yuba, Nevada, Placer, El Dorado, Alpine and Inyo counties.

The moderators of the debate will be KCRA 3 anchor Edie Lambert and CapRadio state politics reporter Nicole Nixon.
