Don’t panic Quincy – this is a planned burnout
Flames are very visible from Quincy, but Plumas National Forest officials want residents to know that it is a burnout being conducted on the south flank of what used to be the Fly Fire. This is a planned operation to secure the line. It is designed to make Quincy safer.
