Eastern Plumas fire district remembers Sept. 11
In a remembrance of Sept. 11, Eastern Plumas Rural Fire Protection District held a touching ceremony in Portola on Friday. With the American Flag proudly presented atop the ladder engine, the City Hall Flag was raised and lowered to half staff by Chief Bob Frank while Captain Elaine Frank read the poem “Lest We Forget” by author unknown.
