Fair parade deadline is this Friday

The Plumas-Sierra County Fair is just around the corner and so is the annual parade. The deadline to enter the parade is even closer — this Friday, July 22. The parade is Saturday, July 30.  It might be catching people a little off guard because the fair is two weeks earlier this year – it’s traditionally the second week in August.

The Plumas Sierra County Fair runs from Thursday, July 28 through Sunday, Aug. 31. For more details on the fair, pick up this month’s edition of High Country Life, which is distributed for free throughout the county. Look for a copy at your local supermarket or various other outlets.

This year’s theme is “Celebrating Fairs Past”!
