Final Words & Music of the season is May 12

Plumas Arts is pleased to present Words & Music in-person at Patti’s Thunder Café on Thursday May 12, at 7 p.m. The show will begin with a featured performance by Todd Reasor and Andrew Ohren. Andrew is an accomplished musicians and Todd is a poet and musician who has been Andrew’s student learning new dynamics of music. Come check out their combined music and stay for open mic after. This is the last words and music until the fall, so you won’t want to miss it.

Andrew is a Master classical guitarist from Oakland. He studied classical guitar and music at Humboldt State. Andrew teaches guitar, plays and creates works of art in his home in Cromberg with his dog, Luna. Todd writes poems, songs, and is inspired by natural beauty. Todd is a dedicated music student of Andrew’s.

With roots in solo classical, and jazz, Andrew Ohren is branching out again. He’s been seen in several electric rock and Americana bands in the area. Andrew is now participating in an acoustic duo with Todd Reasor. His amazing creativity and skill truly shine in this setup. With a barrage of original songs, Todd and Andrew have taken on a whole new refreshing vibe.

Words & Music  has been a program of Plumas Arts since 1989, featuring acoustic performances of music and the spoken word. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., with the Featured Artist starting at 7 p.m., the entire show goes until 9 p.m. Admission is $3 per person and is cash only.
