A state investigation from CalFire has begun. The area of origin of the fire has been identified, but not the cause of the fire.

The house belonged to Indian Valley Community Service District employee Don Silva. IVCSD General Manager, Chris Gallagher has set up a GoFundMe campaign titled “Don Silva Fire Recovery Fund Greenville CA.”

A fire occurred in another structure on the property in April 2019; the cause of that fire was also unknown.
