Firefighters responding to a fire north of the Quincy airport
UPDATE 12:45 p.m.: The Plumas National Forest is reporting that it’s one-half acre with a slow rate of spread.
Firefighters are responding to a reported wildland fire between Beskeen Lane and Quail Ridge Road north of the airport in Quincy. Smoke is visible throughout the valley. Crews are hiking into the area, with some staging on Quail Ridge Road. Currently no structures are threatened.
