Feather River College will be hosting a free virtual College and Career Fair where prospective students can learn about the unique opportunities and benefits of programs at FRC.
The fair will take place Tuesday, Oct. 20, from noon – 2 p.m. during which time attendees can log in and out of individual zoom meetings from each department.
You can find links to the zoom sessions on the FRC website and at www.frc.edu/collegefair.
Representatives in fields ranging from choosing a college major to military and industry work will be available at their virtual “booths” to provide information about their work and to answer questions.
If you are a current undecided FRC student, local high school or prospective student this event will provide you with many resources that can help get you on the road to success.
In a not-COVID-19-year, FRC would have held this event on campus and invited representatives from other schools to present at booths
This year the college is holding it on a flex day, to enable over 15 faculty representatives to participate.
The College and Career Fair was organized in collaboration with the Plumas Unified School District and Charter School. Together the schools created a survey for students to weigh in on what information would be of most value to them. This was a key element in planning what information is being provided at the fair.
