FRC to host free film screening April 21

Feather River College will be hosting a free screening of the film “Inhabitants: Indigenous Perspectives for Restoring our World” on  Thursday, April 21. This 2021 documentary film has won many awards and is an official selection of the American Indian Film Festival, the American Conservation Film Festival; and the Wild and Scenic Film Festival. The films follows five Native American Tribes across deserts, coastlines, forests, and prairies as they restore their transitional land management practices. The film follows individual working to restore fire use as a land management tool, dryland farming and grazing practices, and more. Feather River College looks forward to sharing this film experience will our students and community as part of our FREE 2022 Spring Sustainability Series, focusing on Restoration and Resilience, and our annual Earth Day celebration. No tickets are required.
