Gold Diggers grand marshal honored for her service in Greenville

Indian Valley born and raised, Judy Dolphin is the 57th Gold Digger Day Grand Marshal and will be riding in the parade waving at the crowd on Saturday morning, July 20.

The beloved teacher of culinary arts and cheer advisor at Greenville High School was nominated for the honor for her tireless efforts with her students along with her activities with Sierra Study Club and the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Nominators wrote that Dolphin deserved the honor because of her continuing willingness to help out the community in any way she can, highlighting Dolphin’s efforts in her continuing organization of the Crab Crack Dinner and Pheasants Forever’s annual dinner with her students. They also made mention of the Tuesday morning “Making and Baking” café at Greenville High School which is open to the public during the school year.
