Graeagle Lions club helps prepare grounds for disc golf course in Portola

On Tuesday, August 17, members of the Graeagle Lions club pitched in to help the City of Portola and the Portola Disc Golf Club continue to clear and clean overgrown underbrush and trees in the Portola Riverwalk area. The site will become a new recreation area for a world-class disc golf course designed by world-class disc golf course designer John Houck. The Graeagle Lions club will continue to assist with the project until the area is fully cleared, clean and ready to be enjoyed by area residents and visitors alike. Patricia Kirk of the Graeagle Lions club was happy to note that this project is another way that the Graeagle Lions are able to help their community.
