Graeagle open to those fleeing the Dixie and Fly fires

In a statement released on Facebook, the town of Graeagle has made it clear that despite rumors to the contrary, Graeagle is indeed open to all evacuees who need a place to camp for free.

Evacuees are asked to please camp behind the post office and The Peak winery (shown in photo below) “as we want to keep the Millpond open and available for day use only.”

The statement went on to read, “As a reminder, for now we have limited services available, so dry camping only. No showers, toilets, etc. but bathrooms are on the way. Please, if you pack it in, pack it out. Absolutely no campfires!”
