High Sierra Animal Rescue thanks Feather River Food Co-Op
High Sierra Animal Rescue (HSAR) was fortunate to be the March recipient of the Round-Up at the Register Program at the Portola Feather River Food Co-Op. This program allows community members to round-up their purchases to the nearest dollar for a designated program or organization.

HSAR would also like to thank the co-op members and patrons who chose to round-up for rescue dogs. The funds raised during March will provide homeless dogs with brand new cots for their comfort and well-being.

We are touched to see so many important and worthy causes benefit from the kindness and generosity of a local business. Staff and co-op patrons have adopted dogs from HSAR, making this opportunity even more special. It’s a gift to have such a community-focused co-op in Plumas”, stated HSAR Marketing and Fundraising Manager, Abigail Birnbryer.
