UPDATE: Highway 70 closed from Jarbo Gap to the Greenville Wye-could last a couple days
UPDATE: The California Highway Patrol said to expect this closure to remain in place for the duration of the storm and potentially a couple of days after to perform clean up operations.
SR-89 to Greenville is still open.
Original story: Caltrans is reporting that Highway 70 is closed through the Feather River Canyon from Jarbo Gap to the Greenville Wye due to multiple slides and debris flows, early this morning Oct. 24.
