Holiday Market’s Best Wishes Food Drive
Holiday Market in Chester provides food assistance in the Lake Almanor Basin area to help fight hunger during the holiday season through its Best Wishes Food Drive program in partnership with area food pantries. Patrons are asked for a $5 donation per food bag, but then donate the food, which is distributed back to the pantries. This year’s program runs until Monday, Dec. 9. Bags contain food items including long grain rice, creamy peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes, spaghetti and green beans.
