Jury duty set for Aug. 9, 10 and 11 canceled
Plumas Superior Court announced today, Aug. 3, that “Due to the continuing spread of the Dixie Fire, evacuations and road closures, the Court has continued the jury trial set for August 9, 2021. If you received a jury summons for August 9, August 10 or August 11, you do not need to appear in court, you do not need to call the Court asking for a postponement or excuse – you need take no further action.”
District Attorney David Hollister told Plumas County supervisors during the meeting this morning that the jury trial would be delayed until October.
