Letter to the Editor: Need to listen to make good decisions

If we are to make good decisions we need good information. Listening to a contrarian perspective has a lot of value. I mean …… actually listening ….. not pausing and formulating the next rebuttal. I’ve been reading a few of these back and forth disputes and there aren’t many provided sources of information. When information is provided the other party doesn’t even acknowledge it …. they just talk over it. I have been listening to a fellow who doesn’t attack opposing views. His first point is always stating the problem correctly. His vantage point in speaking of existing problems is much larger than most peoples. This is a 10 min talk concerning the left – right welfare stances. His name is
Daniel Schmachtenberger. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNO_3JFLVUc
