Letter to the Editor: Question the source
I don’t know Mr. Cline or Mr. Johns, but I know Terry Bergstrand. Mr. Bergstrand was one of the most corrupt law enforcement officers in Plumas county. He and his deputy son, who was indicted and fired, nearly ruined the reputation of the Sheriff’s Office, especially in Eastern Plumas Co. If he is attacking Mr. Cline, there is probably another side to the story. Failed leadership of the past is not the path for future success. It’s unfortunate If Mr. Johns is seeking the support of failed leadership of the past.
