Letter to the Editor: Strongly oppose courthouse at Dame Shirley
Please include me with all who STRONGLY oppose a new courthouse at Dame Shirley Plaza. I understand there is at least one alternative on Lawrence St. ANY alternative is better than Dame Shirley Plaza. Please don’t take a beautiful open space welcoming visitors to Quincy and use it for the new courthouse. Come on “leaders” you must be better than that! We live in the county for a reason. Just as we, as a nation, made national parks to preserve beautiful spots for future generations, let’s do the same for our beloved town of Quincy. Please don’t go down as taking the easiest path to get a job done. Dig in and get it right!
