Letter to the Editor: Vote for reduced healthcare costs

With the divisiveness going on in Washington, we keep wondering if anyone is going to quit bickering long enough to do something to bring down the high healthcare costs. What we do know is that it will not be Congressman LaMalfa, because this summer he voted against House legislation that would have reduced our health care premiums. We guess millionaires do not need to worry about health care costs, so it is not his problem. His opponent, Audrey Denney, knows firsthand about the challenge of paying medical bills and getting affordable health insurance. She is pledged to work to lower healthcare costs, improve healthcare access, and lower prescription drug prices. Let us elect someone who gets it. Vote for Audrey Denney.
