Community members and visitors from far and wide will join together Saturday, Nov. 30, for the 19th annual Taylorsville Lights Parade and festivities. This event has support from the entire community of Taylorsville and surrounding area.
This year, the festivities begin at the Historic Taylorsville Tavern where the popular fundraising chili dinner will be served by the Wolf Creek 4H Club. Dinner starts at around 4 p.m. Be sure to come early to share the fun.
The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony begins at the Tavern at 5 p.m.
Decorated floats will parade through the town starting at the Indian Valley Museum, which will be open for visitors. The parade begins at 6 p.m.
Be sure to get your entry form submitted to enter a float in the parade.
Trophy awards will be presented to the first-, second- and third-place winners at the end of the parade . Be sure to stay for the award ceremony. Local businesses will be open into the evening.
Santa will return again this year handing out goodie bags to the children. He will be located across from the Taylorsville Tavern.
