Lil’ Megs Pumpkin Patch welcomes fall with flair
The patch kicked off the fun with the arrival of a celebrated local event, the Sierra Valley Art and Ag Trail on Saturday, September 24. Luckily for those that may have missed that event (or want to come back for more), there are five weekends in October this year, and farmer Meg Whittemore is happy to be able to share pumpkins and gourds of all colors and sizes each weekend. There will also be plenty for the family to do after picking out the perfect pumpkin.
“We’ve got games, activities, picture boards, some farm animals, raffles, slides, freshly harvested produce from our farm, a bake sale, beverages, and BBQ lunch,” Whittemore explained.
