Local events recognize National Library Week

This week is National Library Week, “There’s More To The Story”, so visit your local branch to see how much the library has to offer. While you are there be sure to complete an activity page and turn it in for a free book (one free book per person per day, books are geared towards ages 0-18 years of age.)

April is also Poetry Month. On Wednesday, April 26, there will be a Black-Out Poetry program at the Greenville Library from 3:30 pm to 5:00pm.  (Greenville Library is located at the Greenville High School, Rm #402, 117 Grand St., Greenville CA 95947.)  Chester Library will be having two Black-out Poetry sessions on Thursday, April 27, from 5:30 pm to 7:00pm, and Saturday, April 29, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. And a reminder to everyone who signed up for the Susan Wooldridge poetry workshop, the workshop begins 11:00am in the Quincy Library meeting room on Sat., April 29.
