Magic Beanstalk Players fly in with Peter Pan

Never Neverland and its band of lost children are coming our way soon.

The Magic Beanstalk Players, dramaworks youth drama program for kindergarten through eighth-grade students are prepping for their upcoming production of “Peter Pan JR.”

There are 60 students involved in the production this year, forming two casts for the show: “The Pixie Dust Cast” and “The Jolly Roger Cast.”

The groups performed select scenes and songs for Quincy area schools at assemblies the week of March 9 to get ready for their big performances.

The show was scheduled to open at the West End Theatre on Friday, March 27, and run for two weekends, but has been postponed due to recent guidelines released by Plumas County Public Health Agency and the state regarding public gatherings.

More information about show times will be shared as it becomes available.

Tickets will be available at Quincy Provisions, Quintopia Brewing Co., and on the website www.westendtheatre.us.
