Mandatory evacuation for all of Lake Almanor Peninsula
The Dixie Fire has jumped Highway 89 between Prattville and Lake Almanor West.
A mandatory evacuation is now ordered for all the Lake Almanor Peninsula and Hamilton Branch from Highway 36 on the causeway east to the Lassen County line. South on highway 147 to County Road A13, south to the Peninsula Point. You should evacuate east.
An evacuation site has been established at Lassen Community College in Susanville.
