March 11 deadline looms to file for June Primary

Just a few days remain to submit declarations of candidacy for the June 7 Primary, before the 5 p.m. deadline on March 11.

 

Assessor: Cynthia Froggatt

 

County Clerk-Recorder: Marcy DeMartile

 

District Attorney: David Hollister

 

Sheriff-Coroner: Dwight Cline

 

Supervisor District 3:  Tom McGowan and Kelley Cote

 

Treasurer-Tax Collector: Julie White

 

While these individuals have filed thus far, many more have taken out papers and are expected to return them by the March 11 deadline, including Sheriff Todd Johns and District 5 Supervisor Jeff Engel, among others.

Other offices on the ballot include the Plumas County Office of Education Superintendent and the Auditor, but no one has filed yet. The Primary is June 7 and the General Election is Nov. 8.
