DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA plays June 10-13, Friday, Saturday & Monday at 7pm Sunday at 4pm

The film focuses on two plots: In one we find out that Violet Grantham (Dame Maggie Smith) is the owner of a villa in France, left to her by a man she knew long ago, much to his widow’s chagrin. Nevertheless, Robert Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) is invited to bring some of the family to visit in the hopes of working things out. For the second plot, it’s quite literally a new era for the Granthams, thanks to the introduction of motion picture moviemaking on the grand estate itself. The family, led by Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery), opens the doors of the family home to a silent film production led by director Jack Barber (Hugh Dancy), in hopes of infusing the estate with some sizable cash. But trouble brews with the arrival of the talkies, leading to a cinema-centric plotline that might sound pretty familiar to fans of classic film.

Sr. Strangelove

DR STRANGE: IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS plays June 17-20, Friday, Saturday & Monday at 7pm Sunday at 4pm

The newest edition to the Marvel Studios Universe, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary. Doctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams who can travel across multiverses, to battle multiple threats, including other-universe versions of himself, which threaten to wipe out millions across the multiverse. They seek help from Wanda the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others.
