Meeting tonight in Chester regarding National Monument status

Friends of Plumas Wilderness will be holding a meeting tonight, April 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Memorial Hall in Chester to share information and receive public input about the potential of establishing a national monument in Plumas County. The organization has already held meetings in Quincy, Portola and Taylorsville, which were well attended.
