Museum to close temporarily
Per guidance from Plumas County Public Health in coordination with the California Department of Public Health, the Plumas County Museum will be closed to the public March 17 until March 31 to facilitate social distancing in an effort to help prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
Museum staff hope to re-open April 1.
The museum is not accepting artifact donations until it re-opens. Monetary donations are still, as always, welcome.
Museum staff are taking research requests and providing visitor information via phone at 283-6320 or email: [email protected]
The museum will have short virtual tours on its Facebook page for your enjoyment. You can also visit www.plumasmuseum.org.
