Musical journey from California to Georgia features local musicians
Face the Music Studio and the Central Plumas Recreation District announced a “Pawsitively Puppylicious Production! A Puppy Love Benefit Concert” to be held Saturday, Feb. 15.
The concert will be held at the Quincy Elementary School cafeteria, and will feature Americana music in a show titled “A Musical Journey from California to Georgia.”
There will be numerous Plumas County musicians featured. Enjoy the music of the Ravenclaw Orchestra, Angelina Wilson on the fiddle, the Soulstice String Quartet, Lance Barker and the REEL Pulling Strings, and the High Sierra Community Orchestra.
The concert is a fundraising effort for Friends of Plumas County Animals, a local nonprofit animal shelter, and the “Send Team Foxxmo to Georgia” campaign. Team Foxxmo is hoping to be able to compete in the AKC National Agility Championships in Perry, Georgia, on March 27-29.
The concert starts at 6:30 p.m., with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. to allow attendees to view silent auction items. Event organizers ask the community to “come enjoy a lovely evening of music, friends, yummy refreshments and fun!”
