National Day of Prayer service May 4 on courthouse steps at noon
The Quincy community is invited to attend the 72nd annual observance of the National Day of Prayer, which began in 1952 by a joint act of Congress. This event will be held at the Courthouse steps on Thursday, May 4, from noon to 12:30 pm.
All local churches, pastors, and public are invited. There will be an open mic, and attendees are encouraged to voice prayers for wisdom for our nation, state, military, first responders, education, business, family, world conflict, and media.
Organizers invite all to come, invite a friend, and bring a lawn chair.
