New evacuation order for Dixie Mountain area
The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office issued a mandatory evacuation order for Dixie Mountain north to the Plumas County Line. It includes Jordan Flats, Ferris Flat, Fitch Canyon and Cottonwood Mountain. Residents are ordered to leave the area immediately. Evacuate to the Catholic Church at 108 Taylor St. in Portola.
