New greenhouse to provide shelter for diners at the Spot

The Greenville Rotary Club and a few local volunteers took on the project of erecting a 30’x48’ greenhouse this past December. The greenhouse was sponsored with a grant from:

The Community Foundation of Northern Nevada
Plumas Bank
The Almanor Foundation
The North Valley Community Foundation
The greenhouse is located at the Spot, Greenville’s pop-up business district. The greenhouse will provide a covered shelter area for diners visiting the Spot’s food vendors as well as a venue for community events. A shade cloth will be installed as the weather warms up, so the structure can be used through the summer as well. The greenhouse is open to the public, and people are welcome to gather there.
