Night of music and merriment at the Town Hall Theatre this Saturday

It will be a night of music and festive merriment this Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Town Hall Theatre in Quincy. Nightbrain’s Holiday Cheermeister will bring a merry night of music and community, and features local bands Nightbrain, Passive & Co., and Rainbow Ranger.

Local band Nightbrain features Alex Lemnah, Emmanuel Lemnah, Suzanne de Martimprey, Chase Ramirez, and Nathan Retallack. Nightbrain brings blend of moody groove, clubby funk, and soulful chill-hop. They dream to weave styles and ideas in new and exciting ways through music, and hope to share with all who will enjoy!

Passive & Co. highlights the musical talents of Keely Nesbit and Chris Retallack. Passive & Co. performs a variety of music: primarily acoustic/folk/bluegrass styles. Playing originals as well as cover songs.

Rainbow Ranger is a band from Reno, NV and is trying to change the world they came from and is on a conspicuous search for somewhere other than the muted macho land they grew up in. Members are – Cody, Aris, Greggy, Caleb, and Noah.

Together all three bands will bring new sounds and festive energy to the stage at the Town Hall Theatre. Saturday night’s show is produced in partnership with Plumas Arts and proceeds from the night will benefit the Visions youth program through Plumas Rural Services.

The show starts at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and are on sale at plumasarts.org/cheermeister, Plumas Arts Gallery, and Quincy Provisions. Presale tickets will be available through Saturday at 4 p.m.
