Not too late to get your ticket for the Quincy Star Follies
The Quincy Star Follies is featuring the best of the best for its four performances — two tonight and two on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the fairgrounds in Quincy. (Details in the flyer below.) “The show is amazing this year, and the cast is on point!” said show Director Don Hertel. “The costumes are stellar and the dancing is better than ever!”
Hertel, who started the Star Follies in San Diego, brought the show to Quincy over 10 years ago to benefit the Feather River College Foundation. The connection forged with Lisa Kelly was made in 1999 in Incline Village where the two worked together for three years of Follies shows. When Kelly moved to Quincy, she called Hertel and asked to bring the show up to this beautiful mountain community.
Quincy kicked off its first Star Follies in 2011 and the show has only gotten better. Don’t miss out on the fun – watch your friends and neighbors as well as local K-14 students dance their way to stardom! Get your tickets at Quincy Provisions or online at www.frc.edu/foundation. All proceeds benefit the students of Feather River College through programs, activities and mini-grants.
