The Plumas County Zoning Administrator will hold a Public Hearing on:

Public Hearing – On March 10, 2021, the Plumas County Zoning Administrator approved the Special Use Permit (U 8-20/21-04) for the construction and operation of a child day care facility for up to 38 children, toddlers, and infants ages zero (0) to five (5).

 Condition #4 of the Special Use Permit stated the following:

  On or before March 10, 2023, a public hearing before the Zoning Administrator will be held to review the social compatibility of the project to ensure the project is not creating any nuisances or interfering with the surrounding community.

The public hearing before the Zoning Administrator on March 8, 2023, will review the social compatibility of the project with the surrounding community.

 The property is zoned 7-R (Single-Family Residential), BX (Business Exclusion), and FP (Flood Plain Combining) and is located at 1018 Valley View Drive, Quincy, CA; Assessor Parcel Number 115-192-001 and 115-192-002; T24N/R9E/Section 15, MDM.

This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) as Plumas County Codes reflected in special use permit conditions , as well as permitting requirements of state and local agencies, serve to address any possible impacts.

All interested persons are welcome to attend the above hearing and will be given an opportunity to address the Zoning Administrator.

If you challenge the above project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Zoning Administrator at, or prior to, the public hearing.
