Nov. 24: Plumas announces 11 new cases

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this afternoon, Nov. 24, there are 11 additional coronavirus cases:

Four residents from the Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley)

Two residents from the Western Region (Chester/Lake Almanor)

Two residents from the Eastern Region (Graeagle/Portola)

Three residents from the Norther Region (Greenville/Indian Valley)

There are now 192 total cases with 47 considered active.

Contact tracing investigations have started. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.

A breakdown of the total cases thus far looks like this:

Western Region (Lake Almanor): 40

Northern Region (Indian Valley): 20

Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley): 83

Eastern Region (Portola/Graeagle): 49
