Nov. 27: Plumas announces 6 new cases
The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this evening, Nov. 27, there are 6 additional coronavirus cases:
One resident from the Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley)
Four residents from the Eastern Region (Graeagle/Portola)
One resident from the Northern Region (Greenville/Indian Valley)
There are now 211 total cases with 59 active, and the remainder recovered. A case is considered recovered based on time following a positive test (10 days) and the severity of the symptoms as monitored by Public Health.
Contact tracing investigations have started. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
A breakdown of the total cases thus far looks like this:
Western Region (Lake Almanor): 41
Northern Region (Indian Valley): 22
Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley): 93
Eastern Region (Portola/Graeagle): 55
