Nov. 6: Plumas announces five more COVID cases
The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced that it received notification of five positive COVID-19 test results today, Nov. 6, bringing the week’s total to 14 and the year-to-date total to 99. There are 18 active cases according to the Health Agency’s count.
The positive cases are for two residents in the Western Region (Chester/ Lake Almanor) and three more residents for the Southern Region (American Valley/Quincy).
The contact tracing investigation has started for all the positive residents. It is unknown at this time if the positive residents are connected to any prior positive individuals. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening. Plumas News posted an article earlier today that details the process and what questions are asked.
