Nov. 8: Public Health reports six new positive cases today

The Plumas County Public Health Agency received notification of six positive COVID-19 test results this weekend.

One resident is in the Western Region (Chester/ Lake Almanor).

Three residents are from the Southern (American Valley) with two of the three from the same household. (These two are Feather River College students as reported by FRC president Trutna this morning.)

There are also two positive residents in the Eastern Region (Portola/ Graeagle).

There are 105 cases in Plumas County to date; 24 are active.

The contact tracing investigation has started for all the positive residents. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
