Oct. 29: Plumas confirms three more cases today

For the fourth day in a row Plumas County has announced confirmed coronavirus cases. This brings the total number of confirmed cases thus far this week to 11.

Today, Oct. 29, Plumas County Public Health received notification of positive COVID-19 test results for three residents in the Western Region (Chester/Lake Almanor) for a total of 79 cases to date. Of the 79 cases, 18 are active.

A contact tracing investigation has been initiated in all cases. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
