OHV grant comments may be submitted online

The Plumas National Forest is continuing to seek feedback on its California Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division grant proposals via the OHMVR website through Monday, May 4.

Interested members of the public may view and comment on the preliminary grant applications at olga.ohv.parks.ca.gov/egrams_ohmvr/user/ReviewProjects.aspx.

Final proposals are due to the state on Monday, June 1.

Plumas National Forest grant proposals include:

1. Law enforcement — signage, public education, safety program, special off-highway event support and patrol operations for trails and facilities associated with the PNF OHV/Over-snow Vehicle (OSV) recreation program.

Written comments and requests for more information may also be directed to: Plumas National Forest, Attn: Patrol Captain Michelle Barrios, 159 Lawrence Street, Quincy, CA 95971, by close of business on May 4.

2. Trail, Road & Facilities — road and trail maintenance, development of an OHV trailhead, and restoration of both non-system and system roads and areas.
